Community Investment and Collaboration

Launched in 2024, the Vacancy to Vibrancy Small Grants Program empowers neighborhood groups to bring vacant lots to life, providing funding for projects that create community greenspaces across the City.

• Grounded in community engagement and interdepartmental coordination, The Vacancy Strategy Initiative (VSI) developed shared tools, frameworks, and strategies to address vacancy.
• NEW: Created through the VSI, our From Policy to Progress report reveals grounding data and a comprehensive strategy to reduce vacancy in the City of St. Louis.
